‘more than a wig’ was inspired by a story. It goes like this: A longtime client walked into her hairstylist’s salon carrying a wig.  She was about to start chemotherapy and wanted to be prepared. She asked the stylist to cut and color her hair to match the wig, so the transition would be less abrupt for family, friends, coworkers — and for her.

I was the hairstylist in the story. Easing my client’s transition into wearing wig — and back again — was such a rewarding experience, I wanted to do the same for other women.

‘more than a wig’ salon is located 2.2 miles from the Charles A. Sammons Cancer Center, and Texas Oncology at Baylor Hospital, as well as within 5.7 miles of five major Dallas hospitals. Appointments are preferred.
